Film Fes­ti­val Prep — $500

No one can guar­an­tee that your film gets accepted by a film fes­ti­val other than the festival’s pro­gram­ming depart­ment, but I can help you strate­gize about which fes­ti­vals to apply to, ways to max­i­mize your chances of accep­tance from the per­spec­tive of a fes­ti­val pro­ducer, how to best posi­tion your film once you’ve been accepted, and how to take advan­tage of all the oppor­tu­ni­ties many film­mak­ers don’t know exist.

AFM Prep Pro­gram — $350

If you’re plan­ning to attend the Amer­i­can Film Mar­ket (AFM), then you MUST be pre­pared to  lever­age the oppor­tu­ni­ties the mar­ket can offer you.  Many film­mak­ers don’t real­ize what a valu­able tool AFM is. It’s a great place to pitch your project, help you find dis­tri­b­u­tion, a sales agent, and financ­ing.  How­ever, to get the job done you’re going to need a strat­egy, a plan of action.

What you’ll get in the three month AFM Prep Pro­gram which is a mix of audio lessons and pri­vate one-on-one webcam/phone coach­ing ses­sions to help you develop your AFM strat­egy. The pro­gram includes my per­sonal eval­u­a­tion of each filmmaker’s trailer and pitch package.

Script Analy­sis — $300

Have you ever won­dered what an agent or exec­u­tive would think of your script, or how a pro­fes­sional indus­try exec­u­tive would develop your work?

If you’re look­ing for valu­able advice that will make your script more appeal­ing to pro­duc­ers, stu­dio exec­u­tives, and agents, you need more than script cov­er­age.  That’s where this Script Analy­sis comes in.  This ser­vice is for writ­ers look­ing for live feed­back and an inter­ac­tive dis­cus­sion regard­ing com­ments made in the cov­er­age report, as well as the oppor­tu­nity to brain­storm the material’s fur­ther devel­op­ment, ana­lyze and refine their pitch, and ana­lyze the script’s mar­ket­place saleabil­ity.

This ser­vice includes cov­er­age of your script, a detailed 2-page analy­sis of your script, and a 90 minute webcam/phone consultation.

Script Devel­op­ment — $2500

This Script Devel­op­ment ser­vice pro­vides you three months of hands-on devel­op­ment of your script, and the sub­se­quent.  I will pro­vide sup­port to aid you in devel­op­ing your script through mul­ti­ple drafts and rewrites, work on a plan for sell­ing your script, and guide you through the process.

My script analy­sis pro­vides detailed line-by-line analy­sis of con­cept, story, struc­ture, char­ac­ter­i­za­tion, con­flict, prose, and dia­logue, includ­ing use­ful story sug­ges­tions to improve all ele­ments of your screen­play and how to make it more mar­ketable.  After the first set of notes, you will work on the new draft and re-submit it back to me for follow-up notes.  This will con­tinue until you are ready to pitch your script and begin the ardu­ous process of try­ing to sell it.

Whether start­ing a new project from its con­cep­tu­al­iza­tion stage, or work­ing from a first draft, this is a com­pre­hen­sive ser­vice that includes:

• Ini­tial 4–6 page detailed script analysis.

The process of career-building is a long one.
